Acquisition of the 50% — September 14, 2009

EPCM Services Ltd., Canada, welcomes this opportunity to announce the acquisition of the 50% outstanding ownership in Tecnologias Cobra Limitada (Cobra) to make Cobra wholly owned by the EPCM Group. EPCM inaugurated Cobra in 1998 to service the Chile Copper Producers with tankhouse technology including Cathode Manufacturing, Cathode Maintenance, Machine Service and Spare Parts. With the support of its Team of 125 employees and its loyal Client Partners, Cobra has emerged as a leader in cathode manufacture and services and expanded to become a world wide supplier from its modern plant facility located in Antofagasta, Chile. This change in ownership will allow Cobra to further improve its plant facilities, shop equipment and on-site services to meet the challenges the copper and other base metal producers require in their quest for improved plant performance and profitability. EPCM Group is an Engineering and Technology Supplier with 30 years of experience in the heavy industrial process sector. During the last 17 years, as provider of technology and services to the copper industry, EPCM has acquired a vast technical knowledge base on which it has developed “leading edge” new technologies including: Robotic Based Cathode Stripping Machines; Superior Performance (SP) Cathode Washing; Ultra Wash Cathode Surface Cleaning and SP Corrosion Resistant Cathodes. Other new products are an integral component of our on going R & D commitment. With our strong technical foundation and engineering team, EPCM can support and service the project needs of the base metal industry with Basic Engineering Studies, Detailed Designs, Procurement, Project Management, Plant Upgrades and Optimization. EXPONOR 2007 — June 18-25, 2007

COBRA participated in the EXPONOR Conference – the XII International Exhibition for Latin American Mining – held in Antofagasta, Chile.


JINLONG — June 2007

COBRA completes its first major export to China by shipping the last of the 20,200 permanent cathodes to JINLONG Copper Company. Initial copper production was begun in June.


Gaby Contract — December 2006

COBRA is awarded its first major independent contract by winning the 31,200 cathode job with Codelco’s Minera Gaby. The mine is located close to Calama and is scheduled to produce its first copper cathode in early 2008.


MLS — July 2006

COBRA ships the last of the 22,547 new cathodes to complete the Escondida Sulphide Leach Project. Previously in December of 2005, COBRA had completed the recovery of over 13,000 cathodes from the closed Escondida Coloso facility.


Products
